Brett studied for a year and a half for his recertification boards for internal medicine, which he took on a Monday in Sacramento. He was able to relax on the way there by catching up with Eric on the phone and then later met with Phil to hang out before returning to the hotel where he got a good nights sleep before his 8 hour exam. He certainly was not used to sitting so long, but he endured the exam and was very excited to return home to see his family and be greeted with a sign. Bryce wrapped up a few hundred baseball cards for Dad to open on his return, and the bows were all placed on his as he went about unopening them. He will get his results in about 3 months.
