Joy on Retreat/Boys Play

Joy went away for a Soulcare retreat in Monterey at a beautiful place along Highway 1.  She was refreshed and enjoyed the time of reflection.  She got to lead an art experience and helped make one of the meals.  In the meantime, Brett and the boys went to see Avengers End Game-re-release with 5 extra minutes and then off to Sacramento to watch potentially the final AL night game in Northern CA (if there is a work stoppage in 2027).

September Happenings

Golf and I-Max Weekend

Another weekend full of activities to take advantage of our time off together.  Saturday began with golfing as a foursome, Griffin had work to do.  Sunday after church, we headed up to Sacramento to play disc golf before seeing the Odyssey on I-Max with friends.

We are not going to fall asleep in this movie on this scale, right?

Labor Day Weekend

This year on Labor Day, Brett and Joy went golfing in Stockton midday and then were joined in Northwest Stockton by the boys for an afternoon of disc golf and then a dinner out for bao.  Earlier on the weekend, we played Twilight Imperium and went to a Ben Fuller concert.

We wore red, white, and blue to go with the theme of the day.

We met the fox who lives on the golf course.

We celebrated some nice shots.
