Griffin's 15th Birthday

We broke Griffin's birthday celebration up into two main days:  Sunday the 21st where we went to Alpine Climbing Gym and Gold Dust Pizza with a coffee ice cream cake dessert AND Tuesday where he got to set up a Legion Star Wars game, pick his dinner of choice, play games with his family, and rake in batting practice at Bel Passi.

Climbing with his buddy Jake.

Jake is a certified belayer, so he and Griffin climbed together.

ICC Global On-Line Tournament--Southeast Asia Time

The final tournament of the ICC season was timed for Southeast Asia, so we began the tournament in the early evening here and went into the night.  But we admittedly had it better than the East Coast where the tournament was finishing around midnight or 1am!  Thursday was roundtable so both of our boys were here, but on Friday they were at Jake's house so they could perform their events together.  Joy led the evaluator orientation on Thursday and Garrett picked up the job on Friday while Brett evaluated a Literary Interpretation round.  Bryce had MC duties for the celebration on Friday night.  The boys did well in the tournament finishing as the 2nd and 3rd place in the YSG award.

Bryce had a buddy for the roundtable portion, but she was wise and stayed out of camera range.
