Gym, Baking, Packages, Shopping Trips, and Work

There may be some negatives of our sheltering in place, but some of the positives include we have been able to bake, blade, and bike.  We are also enjoying our gym in our garage which has helped us stay in shape without baseball.  Artwork began to come forth from our children as well.
What beautiful flowers are out at this time of year.

Many shipping boxes arrive bringing stuff from the various stores we have been shopping on-line at.  This box got quite the makeover courtesy of Bryce and Griffin.  Perler bead creations courtesy of Bryce.

The rollerblading gang.
Brett sits in Bryce's lap and gives him some love.

Qi'ra lounges while we workout.  She comes when the garage door goes up.

The first donut experiment.

Chocolate covered donuts with nuts--Dad's favorite.

Bryce and Griffin helped make meatball poppers.

Griffin helped make some yummy chocolate cookies.

Qi'ra likes to watch us workout from her perch.

Our gym in the garage has motivated us to stay in shape and teach the boys how to do stations.

Church at home, livestreamed on FaceBook.

A momentous day of shopping:  yeast and toilet paper!

A late Christmas present from Nikki:  Star Wars socks!

Watching Michael W. Smith in concert over YouTubeTV.

Making it a goal of playing every game in our closet:  so out comes Compounded.

Donuts are being made from scratch in our home now, inspired by Kid's Baking.
Recording songs with Garrett, our assignment from our guitar teacher.

All the boys bonding with Mom on the couch.  Who can get the most attention?

Joy at work in the clinic.

Dr. Saini blesses Joy with some awesome Star Wars wooden spoons.

Vaccines available, but who will actually take a COVID vaccine when there is one?

Completed and mounted in our bedroom.  Joy's first large frame painting.

Gold mine--25 pounds of flour for our baking--would you believe we used it all up within a month and a half?
Joy was excited about the return of Domarina after she rehabbed from surgery.  She was much missed at work.

Griffin's 11th Birthday

Griffin had some wishes for his 11th birthday and we tried to make sure it came true.  The result of this was a series of Axis and Allies games in which each team rolled for an industrial technology at the beginning and also was given a buying and non-combat movements before we began.  We actually started celebrating the day before because he had co-op classes on his birthday and he didn't want to dissect a frog and celebrate on the same day.  His meal of choice was Panera and he selected Mac and Cheese as his primary food item.

Waking up in his Wookie sleeper to find an "11" on the mirror with lots of things written on it about him that we like.
Kinda gross, but also kinda cool...learning about God's creation.

Griffin had an experienced lab partner for the occasion too...Dad!

Oh, Mom, this cake is soooooo good.

Showing off the layers:  white with chocolate chip on bottom and chocolate with mocha on top with a chocolate buttercream filling and a vanilla buttercream frosting--a la Kid's Baking Championship.

Mom wins the Star Wars cake competition with this stormtrooper cake.

Mountain Dew for my birthday!  Yes!

My 11th birthday presents.

An excited surprise:  Imperial Hover Tank.

Dad grilled for my birthday:  asparagus, sausages, burgers, dogs.
