One benefit to being stuck in the US during our Greek vacation was that we got to schedule the rocket launching that was one of the labs for the Earth Science class Bryce took this year. We tried to demonstrate social distancing and wear appropriate face coverings for this event that was recorded for the rest of the class to watch.
| Griffin activates the launch sequence. |
| Bryce looks for the peak height to measure the angle to calculate the actual altitude reached by the rocket. |
| Garrett and Jaden send the rocket off into the atmosphere. |
| Bryce presses the ignition button. |
| Joy and Bryce go over the calculations. |
| Thank you Boone family for hosting our rocket launching. |
| Darren and Brett figure out the steps needed to launch the rockets with Garrett and Jaden observing. |
