Christmas Day began at our home with breakfast and stockings. Then it was off to church for the morning service where the boys got to enjoy a pajama party with the other kids in the chapel. Afterward, it was off to the Sacramento Airport to pickup Grandma and Grandpa who were flying in from Michigan to join us. We stopped at a Subway on the way home to have lunch. Well really we needed to stop for a bathroom break and just so happened that Subway was open inside the gas station and made for a great stop. We then had a great meal and relaxing time in the evening with Grandma and Grandpa. Unfortunately Aunt Alecia was unable to join us this year because Ainsley (her beloved dog) was very sick and undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma, he rallied and then passed away before the new year. We grieve with her for her loss.
This year we helped Daddy decorate the tree and we taught Griffin how to be gentle with ornaments too.

While this wasn't Christmas morning, both Garrett and Bryce were in the choir together for the first time.

Can we use the fine china and a tablecloth for dinner? Wow this is fancy.
It is good to get to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa.
Check out my (Griffin's) new hot wheel track, this is going to be cool.
We're doing a silly picture with our new apple, banana, and pear word games.
We're going to help you build your new Thomas lego set, Griffin!
We wanted to see how much Grandma and Grandpa would like the presents we got them.
We're trying to find the best present at Christmas. We found it: Jesus.

Grandma and Mommy were hard at work in the kitchen. Mmmm did it taste good.
Christmas Lunch at Subway: it was our destiny.
Two smiles and a frown from the guy with the "L" stocking, this stands for Lil G.
I'm gonna dump out my stocking, okay.
The three not so wise men, oh yeah we're supposed to be shepherds.
