We went to the local love your city day where we served at one of the local high schools in picking up trash to help beautify the campus. We taught our boys an interesting lesson about what needs to be done with gum when you are done chewing it, as we found it in so many different locations that needed to plucked and actually thrown away. Hopefully we never witness one of our kids spitting their gum out anywhere except in a trash can. There was a rally before we all went to our sites for volunteer work, where we received some snacks and drinks.
