Joy's birthday was celebrated the day after her actual birthday since her usual work day fell on her birthday and she was ready to have a "break" to work. So we did the traditional donut shop run on Saturday morning which was followed by a trip to Funworks. Her original idea of driving to the coast and going for a nice bike ride was torpedoed by her children and became a little less attractive when she realized we would be in the car for at least 3 to 4 hours roundtrip to accomplish that. The night before, which was Good Friday and Joy's actual birthday, we went to dessert after Good Friday service. We would make up for it later in the month.
