This was the two day tournament that the boys had prepared and qualified for during the season. All three boys qualified in roundtable and each had other group speeches to be competed as well. We recruited some judges who made sacrifices to help out: Poppy, Matt S, and Kathy--thank you. In the end we had some amazing results: Garrett placed fifth in roundtable. Bryce and Garrett (along with Hannah) placed fourth for ORAD. Bryce achieved second in roundtable. Griffin placed eighth in roundtable and fourth in CAA (for his refugee speech) and fourth for Cultural Storytelling (along with Jake). Each of the boys also received a showcase opportunity in Tennessee in July.

| One benefit of the tournament being on Central Time is that we had the rest of the day for a big figure battle. |
 |
| Griffin had a three hour hiatus on Saturday to go see the Modesto Symphony Orchestra perform the entire Star Wars Soundtrack to the movie being played at the Gallo Center. |
