We gathered the crew for the ballgame, arriving early enough to get a bobblehead from the final box at our entrance. But the real question is how did we end up there to begin with? Grammy and Poppy had met a nice couple on their walks around their place and found out that he worked for the Giants and one thing led to another and we were hooked up with tickets on the first level for a Saturday day game! This is a bit of a rarity these days, but there was a scheduling snafu for the Giants and D'Backs necessitating the change to two games on Saturday which meant that there was a new day game added which is ideal because then you don't get home after midnight before church on Sunday morning. So that was a great deal. The Giants performed about as expected given the numerous injuries. But we really enjoyed seeing Tugboat Wilkinson make his Giant's home debut.
