Bel Passi Baseball

It may have taken longer than we had hoped to get the band back together after Bryce's injury to start the season in the beginning of March, but we did get all three boys back on the field for games starting 8 weeks out from his injury.  Pretty remarkable.  In his first game back from injury, he doubled up the gap in right-center.  He would later beat out an infield single before hitting another right-center gapper for another double.  Griffin filled in at first base when Garrett couldn't be there and otherwise played a stellar outfield, often ranging long distances to track down gappers that would die in his glove.  He has contributed with the bat as well, lacing line drives into the outfield and getting on base via walks and getting hit by pitches.  Garrett has pitched and played first base.  He was the first player this year to clear the fence with a drive to right with an upgraded 34 inch bat, leaving his teammates wishing that he would stay and play summer travel ball with them.
