The first ICC tournament of the year was a two day event which featured Joy playing a host role, Brett and Poppy evaluating a round each, and the three boys competing. At the end of the two days, all three of our boys had put in great effort and performance and qualified for the YSG award because of the number of events that they competed in and level of those events. Garrett won the top honor of the night with the YSG award for this tournament. When the invitations were handed out for their events: all three boys qualified for ICON in Round Table and with their ORAD trio (David and Goliath retelling). Additionally, Garrett and Bryce qualified their Cultural Storytelling duo (Breaking Stalin's Nose). Garrett qualified in Interview. Griffin qualified with his partner Jake in News Broadcasting and Video Podcast (Effects of Video Gaming). Griffin also qualified in Literary Interpretation (Ransom of Red Chief) to round out a very successful and amazing tournament.
