November Home Remodel Update

During November, we had some interesting surprises with the house project.  Our water main broke and began leaking under our driveway.  This led to digging up a trench of our driveway.  While we had not really thought about replacing our driveway this now became a future consideration that may enter into conversation in 2018 when the current project is completed.  Due to some delays, we took advantage and had some internal rearrangements.  We moved everything out of the boys old room including taking apart their beds in order to move them into their old play room which was emptied out and lost its closet.  Their new bedroom was painted, carpeted, and moved into so the boys were settled in their new room, while their old room began its conversion into two walk-in closets.  Our garage was rapidly filling with boxes of things from the boys bedroom and old playroom.  When will we be able to fully move back in?

Raised foundation is laid and beginning of plumbing.

Outer walls go up and the floor is laid.

The boys moved into their new room before we left on vacation.

The walls were painted and we put stars up on their ceiling.
