Sharks Playoffs Dream

The San Jose Sharks, for the first time in franchise history, made it to the Stanley Cup Finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Game 4 took place on a Monday that Brett happened to be off of work and it just so happened that Eric was off and had a connection that scored both of us tickets to the game.  Before we arrived we only knew that we had complimentary tickets, when Eric opened the envelope that revealed lower bowl seats, we were excited, then when we walked down to our seats, we were pleasantly shocked how close to the ice we really were.  We saw Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin up close along with Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, and Joe Paveleski.  Later on, we discovered that we were in the same section as Olympic Figure Skating Gold Medalist, Kristi Yamaguchi.  What an experience!  We could see the puck wobble and turn on its end and hear the action up close.  Unfortunately, the Sharks lost the game, but the whole package was amazing.  I have never sat in seats with a face value of $850 before.  Thank you Eric for taking me to my first major sports championship game/series.

Patrick Marleau got lost outside the Shark tank, so we said Hi.
