Golf Adventure for Three

Joy, Brett, and Garrett took a late afternoon venture to the golf course to see how many holes they could get in before sunset starting at 3pm.  Well the answer was about 15 holes, their first time on the back nine with some amazing things, like sinking a shot from 75 yards away that rolled onto the green and then disappeared...into the hole!  Another hole where all of us were on the green after one shot, albeit was a hole that was under 100 yards in length, but we are improving our accuracy.

February Activities

We now have the whole family back together at home.  We are figuring out the new rhythm of trying to celebrate having some sort of a Sabbath on Saturdays where we rest from our usual activities and enjoy things that don't drain us further.

Home Group Valentine's

Given that Valentine's Day was on Friday and we have home group on Fridays, we decided to make it big event for all the couples.  We shared a meal doing it hot pot style.  Sophy brought the pots, we blew some fuses, everyone else brought items to put in the pots, and we had memories and laughs.

Brett's Sacramento Adventure

Brett was asked to go to a Street Medicine conference in Sacramento at the Railroad Museum.  It was a three day conference, so he stayed at the Delta King Riverboat Hotel and found a way to connect with his college friend, Mark, and attend a Kings game.  While he was away from home, Brett also finished his quarterly CME questions while it poured rain all day and night his first day up there.

The rooms were small but comfy.

Getting to see Domantis Sabonis and Paolo Bancherio was pretty special.
